What are Ddavp no Prescription used for?

CENTRAL CRANIAL DIABETES INSIPIDUS
DDAVP, Minirin, Concentraid, Desmopressin, Stimate Nasal Spray and Nose Drops
Adults: The usual recommended dosage range is 0.1 to 0.4 ml daily, either as a single dose or divided into 2 or 3 doses. Most adults require 0.2 ml per day divided into 2 doses.
Children: The usual dosage range for children aged 3 months to 12 years is 0.05 to 0.3 ml daily, either as a single dose or divided into 2 doses.
DDAVP, Minirin, Concentraid, Desmopressin, Stimate Tablets
Adults and Children Aged 4 and Over: The usual starting dose is half of a 0.1-mg tablet twice a day. Your doctor will adjust the dose to suit you. You will eventually take 0.1 to 1.2 mg a day, divided into smaller doses.
PRIMARY NOCTURNAL ENURESIS (BEDWETTING)

Children 6 Years of Age and Older: The usual recommended dose is 20 micrograms or 0.2 ml at bedtime. Dosage requirements range from 10 to 40 micrograms. One-half the dose should be taken in each nostril.

To stop bleeding, the usual dose is one 150-microgram spray in each nostril. If you use the spray more frequently than every 48 hours, you may find you are not responding as well as you should to the drug.
