Be sure to mention any of the following: diuretics ('water pills'), indomethacin (Indocin), and potassium supplements. Your doctor may need to change the doses of your medications or monitor you carefully for side effects.
- Tell your doctor if you have or have ever had heart failure or kidney or liver disease.
Cozaar no Prescription Interactions
Do not take Cozaar no Prescription with any of the following drugs:
- Blood pressure drugs;
- Diuretics, especially triamterene, spironolactone, or amiloride;
- Fluconazole;
- NSAIDs, drugs for pain and inflammation, like ibuprofen or naproxen;
- Potassium salts or potassium supplements;
- Rifampin;

- Confusion, dizziness, light headedness or fainting spells;
- Decreased amount of urine passed;
- Difficulty breathing or swallowing, hoarseness, or tightening of the throat;

- Skin rash, itching;
- Swelling of your face, lips, tongue, hands, or feet;
- Cough;
- Decreased sexual function or desire;
- Headache;

What is a recommended dosage of Cozaar no Prescription?
ADULTS
High blood pressure
The usual starting dose is 50 mg once daily. However, Cozaar, Cosart, Losacar, Losartan, Losgard can also be taken twice daily, with total daily doses ranging from 25 mg to 100 mg. If your blood pressure does not respond within 3 to 6 weeks, your doctor may increase your dose or add a low-dose diuretic to your regimen.
For people taking diuretics and people with liver problems, the usual starting dose is 25 mg daily. Your doctor may adjust your dosage according to your response.
Kidney disease caused by diabetes
The usual starting dose is 50 mg once daily. The doctor may increase the dose to 100 mg once a day if blood pressure remains too high.
CHILDREN
The safety and effectiveness of Cozaar, Cosart, Losacar, Losartan, Losgard in children have not been studied.
