For children 12 months to 5 years old: The usual dose is 1.25 mg (one-half teaspoonful) once a day. The dose should be given with a dropper that measures ml (one-half teaspoonful equals 2.5 ml).

For children 6 months to 11 months old: The usual dose is 1.0 mg (2 ml) once a day. The dose should be given with a dropper that measures ml.

A recommended dose has not been established for children with kidney or liver disease.
