Allegra no Prescription is an antihistamine. Allegra no Prescription is indicated to treat or prevent symptoms of allergies. Allegra no Prescription is indicated to help reduce itchy skin rash and hives.

Allegra no Prescription Contraindications
Allegra no Prescription is contraindicated if you have any of the following conditions:
- Kidney disease;
- An unusual or allergic reaction to Allegra no Prescription, terfenadine, other drugs, foods, dyes, or preservatives;
- Pregnant or trying to get pregnant;
- Breast-feeding;
- Tell your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to Allegra no Prescription any other medications or any of the ingredients in Allegra no Prescription tablets or suspension Ask your pharmacist for a list of the ingredients;
- Tell your doctor and pharmacist what prescription and nonprescription medications vitamins nutritional supplements and herbal products you are taking or plan to take Be sure to mention either of the following: erythromycin (EES E-Mycin Erythrocin) and ketoconazole (Nizoral) Your doctor may need to change the doses of your medications or monitor you carefully for side effects;
- If you are taking an antacid containing aluminum or magnesium (Maalox Mylanta others) take the antacid a few hours before or after Allegra no Prescription;
- Tell your doctor if you have or have ever had kidney disease;
Allegra no Prescription Interactions
Do not take Allegra no Prescription with any of the following drugs:
- Antacids;
- Erythromycin;
- Grapefruit, apple, or orange juice;
- Ketoconazole;
- Magnesium-containing products;

Allegra no Prescription side effects that you should report to your health care professional or doctor as soon as possible:
- Allergic reactions like skin rash, itching or hives, swelling of the face, lips, or tongue;
- Breathing problems;
- Chest pain;

What is a recommended dosage of Allegra no Prescription?
Allegra, Telfast, Fexofenadine
Adults and Children 12 Years and Older
For hay fever, the usual dosage is 60 mg twice a day or 180 mg once a day. For hives, it's 60 mg twice a day. If you have kidney problems, your doctor may have you take only one 60-mg dose daily.
Children 6 through 11 years old
For hay fever or hives, the usual dosage is 30 mg twice a day. Children with kidney problems may be prescribed only one 30-mg dose each day.
Allegra, Telfast, Fexofenadine-D
Adults and Children 12 Years and Older
12-Hour Tablets: Take 1 tablet twice a day. People with kidney problems should take only 1 tablet daily.
24-Hour Tablets: Take 1 tablet once a day. Allegra, Telfast, Fexofenadine-D 24-hour tablets should generally not be taken by people with kidney problems.
Allegra, Telfast, Fexofenadine is not recommended for children less than 12 years old.
